3eYoga
These classes taught by studio co-owner, Erika Killam, are offered in-studio and via Zoom. Erika finally decided to take ownership of her class and offer a description that best reflects what you have always been and will continue to be practicing with her! The structure & sequencing of the classes change each week but within the week you will revisit that same theme/sequence from Tuesday thru Saturday. There will always be a focus on alignment principles designed to enhance your experience and understanding of the postures from the inside out. Connection between movement and breath will be a constant theme; but some weeks may lean towards vinyasa flow while other weeks may focus on postural structure. Classes are designed to suit the needs of the participants and take into consideration seasonal, environmental, energetic factors.
3eYoga is the name of Erika's independent yoga venture & it is derived from words her students used when asked to describe their experience in class: Engage, Enliven, Empower.
SomaYoga
Somatic movements emphasize internal physical perception and experience. The type of Somatics explored in this class focuses on neuromuscular re-education, which helps release chronically tense and over-used muscles.
During the course of our lives, our sensory motor system responds to daily stress with specific muscular reflexes. When repeatedly triggered, we cannot voluntarily relax the muscles. They become so unconscious we forget how to move about freely. This results in stiffness, soreness and restricted range of motion. Movement explored in this class will work to release those chronically tense muscles.

The Somatic movements will be blended with a therapeutic approach to all aspects of Yoga including postures, breathing, meditation and relaxation.

This class is suitable for all levels and abilities and is lead by a trauma informed Yoga Therapist.
Hatha Yoga
This is a general yoga class suitable for all levels (from beginner to advanced) incorporating strengthening, stretching and balancing components as well as cultivating a connection to the breath.
Yoga Flow
This class introduces you to or strengthens your knowledge of the Sun Salutation sequence. Typically, each pose moves from one breath to the next. Other poses will be explored within this "flow". Suitable for all levels.
Yoga & Meditation
This one-hour class incorporates various yoga techniques including breathing exercises, asanas and concludes with a meditation practice. The three-part sequence allows you to connect to all your senses, turn your awareness inwards and, over time, gain a deeper connection and understanding about yourself and the people around you.
Slow Flow
Designed to deliberately calm the body, heart and mind with intentional, fluid movement connected to breath. Expect longer holds, pauses to catch your breath and a physical practice that flows between suppleness and strength. Open to all levels.
Gentle/Yin
Yin Yoga is a gentle form of yoga that emphasizes joint health, stretching and calming the mind/nerves.
On a physical level we take a posture and remain in that posture for 3 to 5 minutes allowing for the gentle release of the connective tissues of the body. As the connective tissues release, they provide greater flow of blood, oxygen and fluid to our joints. On a mind body level we practice dropping out of our heads and into our hearts, breathing in and out of our hearts, allowing ourselves to notice, just notice the experience. We use silent mantra to calm the mind and nerves. Welcoming the relaxation and allowing the yoga to do the work.

We also offer a Reiki-Infused Yin class with a Reiki Master.
Yoga Now
The practise of yoga can enhance flexibility, balance, resilience, agility, and
stamina, and it also can develop stillness of the mind and the ability to focus.
The Sanskrit word yoga means to join or to unite. As we engage with yoga, we
can create a growing sense of unity of body, mind, intellect, emotions, and spirit.
